tesa ® 60408 is a paper-based packaging tape with a premium paper backing and a high-performance, water-based natural rubber adhesive. The paper backing of tesa ® 60408 is made from paper from well-managed forests and other controlled sources. This premium paper backing is tear resistant with high tensile strength. Thanks to the silicone-free separating layer, excellent printability with all types of ink systems is guaranteed (tested externally). The high-performance natural rubber adhesive system offers strong adhesion and good initial tack on a wide range of board grades.
tesa ® 60408 is the perfect solution for light and medium-weight packaging applications (max. 20 kg) where top-class performance is required.
